Anne Doriski
Anne Doriski, 75, of County Rt. 54 died Wednesday, February 22nd at St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, following a short illness. She was born on August 21, 1934 in Lodi, NJ, a daughter of the late Peter and Pelegia Bihuniak Doriski, Sr.
She was a graduate of Greenwich Central Schools and the Mildred Ely Business School. Retired after 43 years as an Administrator with the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Safety. A communicant of St. Peter & Paul’s Ukraine Church. An excellent cook, she enjoyed embroidery, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include siblings: Helen Doriski of Schaghticoke, John (Viola) Doriski of Schaghticoke, Paul (Mary) Doriski of Greenwich, Andrew Doriski of Schaghticoke, George (Barbara) Doriski of Fayetteville, NC and Theodore (Shirley) of Jacksonville, NC as well as many nieces and nephews whom she was very close with. She was the Godmother of Lee Ann Cline.
Relatives and Friends may call on Sunday, February 28th from 3:00 – 5:00pm at the Chase Funeral Home, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 1st at 10:00am at St. Peter and Paul’s Ukraine Church, 198 Ontario Street Cohoes, NY 12046. Spring burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Schaghticoke.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter & Paul’s Ukraine Church, 198 Ontario St., Cohoes, NY 12147 or to The American Cancer Society in her memory.
