Gansevoort died Tuesday July 8th
at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her family following a long
illness. Born in Mechanicville on May 24, 1923, Daughter of Augustus
& Catherine Moran Cooney. She is
the
widow of Gordon R. Jones who passed March 10,
2003.

of Washington,
Gordon (Sandy) Jones
San Diego, CA, Thomas (Mary) Jones of
Troy, Francis Jones (Nancy McLaughlin)
of Greenwich;
Daughters
Catherine (David) Mick
of South Salem, OH, Robin (Keith) Bogle
of Nashua, NH,
MaryAnn Jones (David Miller) 0f Johnsonville,
AnnMarie Jones (David Sweener) Cohoes, also
survived by numerous grand & great grandchildren and several Nieces
& Nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is
predeceased
by one brother, William Cooney.
A loving and
devoted Mother & Grandmother, She liked to spend time at her camp,
reading and watching the Sci-Fi Channel, Attending family
reunions, and going on Sunday rides.

Friends may call Friday from 4 – 8 PM at the Chase Funeral Home 173
Main Street,
Schaghticoke.
Funeral
services will be held at 8:00 PM from
the funeral home.
Interment at the Gerald B.
H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville on Thursday
July 17th
at 1:00 PM.
